Message The crank broke between cylinders 2 and 3, right?

I have my doubts that the torque of only the front two cylinders would be enough to shear the crank, hence my belief that it is more of a harmonic issue than a torque issue.

We may never know the true cause. It would be interesting to see a close up pic of the fracture though. There may have been an existing flaw that caused a fatigue failure.
